Precast Panel Wall
MSE Plus Precast Wall Systems

Since its introduction in 1997, the MSE Plus Precast Wall System has found widespread use and acceptance on millions of square feet of highway walls, bridge abutments, material storage facilities, dams and other engineering structures throughout North America. The system is fully approved for use on the U.S. Interstate Highway network as well as by most state transportation departments in the U.S. and Canada. It is widely recognized as a leading MSE structural system and is the system of choice for many national and local construction contractors.

MSE Plus™ was designed from the ground up to provide a broad range of economic and performance advantages for owners and builders of MSE structures. The system incorporates numerous innovations in panel design and the reinforcement connections to make construction faster, more efficient and more economical.

The MSE Plus panel design requires only one panel type for all reinforcement sizes, thereby greatly simplifying procedures for delivery, storage and field placement of the panels. While other systems require several panel types for a given structure, each with a dedicated number of panel connectors to match the corresponding reinforcement, every MSE Plus panel accommodates any size mesh. The easily-aligned, tool-free reinforcement connections allow any size mesh to be attached within seconds and require no workforce training or experience. To maximize production rates, the standard panels are 20% larger than conventional systems. And SSL’s fail-safe fabrication and quality control methods assure consistent delivery of materials with uniform high quality.

SSL’s concrete facing panels are available in a wide variety of sizes, surface colors, textures and relief effects to satisfy any aesthetic requirements. Our extensive inventory of panel forms and form liners, combined with our proven ability to produce custom panels and wall designs, assures that the owner ’s aesthetic goals will be achieved or exceeded.
